2: DELHI
The
national capital holds many a sight for interested tourists.
We have a full day sight seeing tour here covering Red Fort,
Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat, Qutb Minar, Humayun
Tomb, Lotus Temple and Birla Mandir. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day
3: DELHI-AGRA
Departure
for Agra by train (2 hrs). Arrival at Agra and transfer to
the hotel. After breakfast we head for a city tour covering
Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. Evening at leisure.
Overnight stay at Agra.
Day
4: AGRA-JAIPUR
Morning
transfer to the station for train to Jaipur (7 hrs). On arrival
at Jaipur, transfer to hotel. Evening at leisure.

5: JAIPUR
After
breakfast we will visit the ancient capital of Amber. Here
you can ascend the Palace Fortress on the back of a gaily-caparisoned
elephant and tour the intricate chambers and hallways of the
palace. En route to Amber, we stop off at a major Rajput landmark,
the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), built in 1799 AD. The
tour continues on to Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory, and
the largest of Jai Singh's five remarkable observatories.

6: JAIPUR-BIKANER
We
take a 7 hr drive to Bikaner (321 km), stopping off at Mandawa
for Lunch. Mandawa is a suburban village famous for its breathtaking
frescoes, havelis & mansions for which it is also known
as the Open Air Art Gallery of Rajasthan. Its a tourist favourite.
Arrival at Bikaner and transfer to hotel. Evening half-day
trip to Deshnok Temple, 40 km out of Bikaner to see the miracle
temple of Karni Mata, presiding deity of the Royal House of
Bikaner. Overnight stay at Bikaner.
Day 7: BIKANER
We
begin the day with a half day city tour of Bikaner. The city
is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16th century fort
housing the old palace temples and a mosque, distinguished
by its long-range 37 pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial
windows of varying designs. We continue the tour with visits
to Joramal temple and the Royal Chapel - Har Mandir, Junagarh
Fort, Karan Mahal, Anup Mahal, Badal Mahal, Lalgarh Palace,
carved out of red sand stone and the Ganga Golden Jubilee
Museum. In the afternoon, we visit the Cenotaphs situated
8 km from Bikaner at Devi Kund. Later on we visit the Camel
Breeding Farm set within the sand dunes, the only farm of
its kind in the whole of Asia. Overnight stay at hotel.

8: BIKANER-JAISALMER
An
8 hr drive (333 kms) to Jaisalmer. Arrival and transfer to
hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

9: JAISALMER
Morning
sightseeing of Jaisal Fort, built in 1156 AD by Rawal Jaisal.
The 80m high Trikuta hill is a major attraction here. We also
visit the famous Patwon ki Haveli for viewing the magnificent
latticework and the 300 yr old Salim Singh ki Haveli. Afternoon
excursion to Sam Sand Dunes to enjoy the sun set over the
desert. You have the option for an exciting camel ride on
the sand dunes.

10: JAISALMER-JODHPUR
An
8 hr drive to Jodhpur (298 km). Arrival and transfer to hotel.
Afternoon half-day sight seeing of the Mehrangarh Fort (1459).
There are Palaces housed within this daunting structure among
which are Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Next we go on to Jaswant
Thada (1899) and the Museum located in Umaid Bhawan Palace.
Overnight stay at hotel.

11: JODHPUR - KUMBHALGARH
A
225 km drive to Kumbhalgarh (5 hrs) via Ranakpur. On arrival
we assist you to check in at Hotel Adohi Palace. Afternoon
sightseeing tour of Kumbhalgarh. Kumbhalgarh is famous for
its 15th century fort and game sanctuary. Approachable by
road, the huge stone bastion stands atop a hill 700 feet above
sea level and allows access through spiked gates viewing Aravallis
ranges and desert of Marwar. Overnight stay at Adohi Palace.

12: KHUMBHALGARH - UDAIPUR
Late afternoon drive
to Udaipur (2 hrs / 85 km) via the famous Jain temples at Ranakpur.
Arrival and transfer to hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight
stay at Udaipur.
Day
13: UDAIPUR
Morning
sight seeing tour of Eklingji, a complex of 108 temples, 22
kms from Udaipur, built in 734 AD. The 10th Century Sas Bahu
temples here are famous for their intricate carvings. Afternoon
city tour of Udaipur, stopping first at City Palace, then
visiting the lovely Sahelion ki Bari Gardens, the Jagdish
Temple and enjoying the local folk music. Overnight stay at
Udaipur

14: UDAIPUR-DELHI
The
morning begins with a romantic motor launch cruise (optional)
on the placid waters of Lake Pichola, followed by a visit
to the Jag Mandir Palace, the other lovely Island Palace in
the middle of the lake. Evening transfer to the station for
overnight train to Delhi (12 hrs).
Day
15: DELHI
Arrival
at Delhi, station pick-up and transfer to the hotel. Day at
leisure. Overnight stay at Delhi
